Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Business Development Executive (Inside Sales) to identify, acquire, onboard, and manage local business partners through telephone, WhatsApp, email, and online meetings.

The selected candidate will generate new business opportunities, explain the company's products and services, onboard merchants remotely, and build long-term relationships with assigned merchants. During the company's initial growth phase, every merchant acquired by the BDE will remain assigned to them for ongoing relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through online research, referrals, business directories, and company-provided databases.
  • Contact prospective merchants via phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and other digital communication channels.
  • Present and explain the company's products and services to prospective merchants.
  • Convince merchants to partner with the company and complete the onboarding process.
  • Provide initial guidance and support during merchant onboarding.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned merchants.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to improve merchant engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the Customer Support Executive to resolve merchant queries and issues.
  • Promote renewals, upgrades, and referral opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate lead, merchant, and follow-up records in the CRM or company system.
  • Achieve monthly business development and merchant onboarding targets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate preferred (12th Pass with relevant experience may be considered).
  • 1–3 years of experience in Inside Sales, Tele Sales, Business Development, Customer Relationship Management, or B2B Sales.
  • Experience in merchant acquisition, fintech, QR/POS solutions, SaaS, telecom, food delivery, local advertising, or similar industries is preferred.
  • Good communication skills in Hindi and Marathi; basic English is an advantage.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office, internet browsing, email, and CRM software.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and handling follow-up conversations.
  • Ability to build customer relationships and close business over phone and online communication.

Working Hours

  • Office Timing: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM
  • Weekly Off: Sunday
  • Paid Holiday: 2 paid holiday per month (as per company policy)
