Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Executive to manage and support the company's day-to-day Human Resources, recruitment, payroll, employee documentation, attendance, and statutory compliance activities.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing key HR and employee-related activities, including recruitment coordination, employee onboarding, attendance and leave management, monthly payroll processing, employee documentation, and payroll-related statutory activities such as PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax. The role requires strong attention to detail, practical knowledge of HR and payroll processes, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job openings, sourcing candidates, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and following up with candidates.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and joining formalities, including collecting and verifying required employee documents.
  • Prepare and maintain offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, experience letters, relieving letters, and other employee-related documents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, documentation, and HR databases.
  • Manage and maintain employee attendance, leave records, and other monthly payroll inputs.
  • Manage and utilize multiple job portals and recruitment platforms, including Naukri, Apna, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms, to post job openings, source candidates, search resumes, manage applications, and build candidate pipelines.
  • Use appropriate job portals and recruitment channels based on the role, candidate profile, location, experience level, and hiring requirements.
  • Maintain and manage job postings, candidate applications, recruiter accounts, and candidate databases across relevant recruitment platforms.
  • Collect and verify payroll-related information, including attendance, leave, salary revisions, incentives, reimbursements, and applicable deductions.
  • Process and manage monthly employee payroll accurately and within defined timelines.
  • Prepare salary sheets, payroll reports, payslips, and other required payroll-related records.
  • Handle employee queries related to attendance, leave, salary, payslips, and other HR and payroll-related matters.
  • Handle payroll-related statutory activities, including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and other applicable employee deductions and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain records of statutory payments, challans, employee contributions, and other required compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate with management, finance, accountants, or external consultants for statutory filings, complex compliance matters, and other payroll-related activities when required.
  • Process and coordinate employee Full & Final settlements, exit documentation, and other separation-related activities.
  • Maintain employee information in HRMS, payroll software, or internal company systems.
  • Prepare regular HR and payroll-related MIS and reports for management.
  • Support employee engagement, HR initiatives, and other people-related activities as required.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and proper handling of employee, salary, and other sensitive company information.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of HR policies, processes, and internal procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate preferred in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, Payroll, HR Operations, Recruitment, or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience using job portals and recruitment platforms such as Naukri, Apna, Indeed, LinkedIn, or similar platforms for job posting, candidate sourcing, resume searching, and application management is required.
  • Hands-on experience in monthly payroll processing is required.
  • Practical knowledge of PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, attendance, leave management, and payroll deductions is required.
  • Experience in employee onboarding, HR documentation, and employee record management is required.
  • Experience in recruitment, candidate coordination, and interview scheduling is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets is required.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills in Hindi, Marathi, and basic English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate employee and payroll records.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee and salary information professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple HR and payroll activities independently and complete tasks within deadlines.
